Each year the Northern Cancer Network develops an annual work programme. The work programme is informed by the Network’s Strategic Plan 2009 – 2014 and national priorities as identified by the Cancer Control programme within the Ministry of Health. All Network forums have opportunity to participate in the planning process.

The work programme is prioritised and agreed by the Northern Cancer Collaborative following advice from the Maori Leadership Group. This group also monitors performance against the plan.
